Why is the media in my Eazypod sitting high up and water is flowing down the overflow channels?

This problem occurs when the media is very blocked and the water can’t flow through it easily.

The filter needs to be cleaned, preferably at least twice to flush the dirt out. This problem may occur if the filter hasn’t been cleaned for a while or a Blanketweed treatment has been carried out and the excess waste causes the media to clog.
